Backups and new phones
How are my workouts backed up?
MythicRep backs up to your own iCloud automatically: after every finished workout, and once a day when you open the app. It keeps your three newest backups, photos for card art included. You can check it, or back up right away, under Settings > iCloud backup.
You need to be signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive turned on (iPhone Settings > your name > iCloud > iCloud Drive). Without it, your regular iPhone backup still includes MythicRep's data.
I got a new phone. How do I get my progress back?
Sign in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive on, then install MythicRep. The first time it opens, it offers to restore your newest backup, showing its date, your level and how many workouts it holds. Tap Restore.
Missed the offer? Go to Settings > iCloud backup > Restore. Restoring replaces what's on the phone, so do it before you log new workouts there.
It says iCloud backup isn't available
Check that you're signed in to iCloud, that iCloud Drive is on, and that MythicRep is allowed to use it (iPhone Settings > your name > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud). If your iCloud storage is full, backups can't be written until there's space.
Workouts and progression
How does MythicRep pick my weights?
Each card has a working weight and a rep range. A session counts as a success when every set is done and reaches the bottom of the range. When you've earned it (by default, every set at the top of the range), the weight goes up next time. Miss once and it holds. Miss twice in a row and it drops a little (a deload) so you can build back up.
Cards with no weight, like Pull Up, Run or Plank, raise their targets instead: more reps, more distance or more time. You can change any card's sets, rep range, increment and rule on the card, or per deck.
Why did my weight go down?
That's a deload after two missed sessions in a row on that card. It's on purpose: a small step back usually gets you past the sticking point. If you'd rather set the weight yourself, open the card and edit its working weight.
How does XP work?
You earn XP for each completed set, for personal bests, for weight increases and for clearing a whole deck. A streak of weekly goals multiplies it, and so does coming back after a missed week. A card you didn't finish still earns part of its XP for the work you did. Your first two sessions on a card are calibration, so they don't count as personal bests.
I logged a set wrong
During a workout, tap the logged set to fix it, or open the cards list at the top of the workout and tap a card to go back into it. To fix a finished workout that was logged by mistake or twice, open it from History and tap Delete workout. Its XP comes back off you and its cards. Working weights stay as they are.
Pounds or kilos, miles or kilometers?
Change it in Settings. It only changes what you see and type: your history converts with it, nothing is lost.
Timers and notifications
How do I see the rest timer on my lock screen?
Turn on Settings > Workout on lock screen. During a workout, the deck, your sets and the rest countdown show on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. If nothing shows, check iPhone Settings > MythicRep > Live Activities. If you swipe it away, it comes back when you start your next workout.
Reminders and rest alerts
Workout reminders tell you what's on for today on the days you train, at a time you pick. Rest alerts buzz when your rest is nearly over, even with the app in the background. Turn either on or off in Settings. They're scheduled on your phone; nothing is sent from a server.
Decks and sharing
Do I have to build a deck first?
No. Tap Quick workout on Today, pick one card or several, and start. It earns XP and counts toward your weekly goal like any workout, and if you have a deck scheduled, it stays open for the day. When you finish, you can tap Save as deck to keep those cards as a deck, or just leave it in History. You can also tap Skip for now on the first-launch planning screen and plan your week later, or never.
How do I share a deck with a friend?
Open the deck and tap Share deck. Your friend opens the link on an iPhone with MythicRep installed and gets their own copy, with your sets, rep ranges, supersets and any custom cards. Your levels, weights and history are never included, and their progress stays their own.
If the link doesn't open the app, copy the whole message, then in MythicRep go to Decks > Import a deck and paste it.
Can I use my own picture on a card?
Yes. Open a card and change its art: pick another version (woman, man or fantasy), any image from the library, or a photo of your own, which you crop in the app. Photos stay on your phone and in your own iCloud backup.
Your data
How do I delete my data?
Settings > Reset all data erases everything on the phone, once you type RESET DATA to confirm. Deleting the app does the same. Your iCloud backups are kept so you can restore later. To delete those too, go to iPhone Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > MythicRep.
There's no account and nothing on our servers, so there's nothing else to delete. Details are in the privacy policy.
